Backend Team Lead

We are seeking an experienced Backend Team Lead to oversee the development and optimization of the Vaiz platform's backend systems. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on solving complex challenges, leading a technical team, and ensuring the platform’s scalability, reliability, and performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of backend developers, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend architectures and APIs.
• Collaborate closely with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless feature integration.
• Optimize system performance and reliability to support high-demand environments.
• Implement best practices for code quality, testing, and documentation.
• Stay updated on the latest backend technologies and propose innovative solutions.
• Monitor team performance, provide constructive feedback, and support professional growth.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in backend development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Expertise in Node.js and Python.
• Strong understanding of database systems (SQL and NoSQL) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
• Experience with API development, microservices architecture, and system design.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage development processes.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
