Automation: faster, better, smarter

Vaiz Automation example

Now you can set up actions that trigger automatically. For example:

  • Archiving a task
  • Assigning an executor (specific person can be selected)
  • Moving to "Complete" status
  • Moving to "Uncomplete" status
  • Changing the group (with group selection)
  • Changing the type (with type selection)

Connect with other tools through webhooks to expand automation possibilities. Combine different triggers and actions to match your workflow – from simple task updates to complex project sequences.

Column limits: optimize your workflow with ease

Limits help you spot when too many tasks pile up in one stage of work, so you can quickly fix workflow bottlenecks. Set limits for any column you want or leave them unlimited.

The visual indicators make it easy to monitor your workflow balance. We're working on adding limit-based notifications and automation tools to help you manage workload even better.

Other improvements

  • Custom fields in dubtasks. Subtask and milestone tables now support any custom fields. Customize everything to your heart’s content!

  • Notification Center UI: The Notification Center got a UX refresh, making it easier to focus on what actually matters. No more information overload!

  • Invite permissions matrix: Added a permissions matrix to the Invite Modal. Now you can set access rights from the get-go, like a true control freak.

  • Board unarchive option: You can finally unarchive boards. Seriously, how did we miss that before? Better late than never!

  • Absolute dates in UI: Goodbye, vague "3 days ago." Hello, clarity! (Except in rare cases where "3 days ago" really shines.)

  • Search prioritization: Titles now take priority in searches, followed by descriptions. Finding tasks is a breeze now—you're welcome!

  • Task IDs in search: Task IDs are now visible in the search window. Perfect for those who prefer memorizing numbers instead of names.

  • Notification counter: Limited the notification counter in the header. For those with thousands of unread messages... should we add an achievement badge?

  • Improved Due Date UX: Due dates now update automatically when FlyNav closes. No more "Apply" button frustration—hallelujah!

  • Refined comments: We gave comments a little polish. Sometimes, all it takes is a fresh perspective and a good old napkin.

  • API versioning: API versioning is here, paving the way for a smooth future. You will be pleased (later).
