January 2025 Updates: This release brings significant enhancements to the comment system, task duplication, and user interface, along with various refinements and bug fixes to improve overall performance. It introduces a simplified comment design for easier conversation tracking, a new task duplication feature to streamline task creation, and multiple UI improvements to increase usability. These updates are focused on boosting productivity and optimizing your experience in Vaiz.

New Comment Design

We’ve revamped the comment section to enhance clarity and streamline the user experience. The new design eliminates confusing thread structures, making it easier to follow conversations. Comments now appear in a straightforward order, with new messages at the top for better focus. Activity logs are separated into a dedicated tab, offering a clearer distinction between discussions and task updates. We plan to introduce an "All" button in the future for merging comments with the log upon request. In addition, file previews are now accessible directly in the comment input.

Task Duplication Feature

The new task duplication feature allows users to quickly create tasks based on existing ones, saving time and reducing errors. This is particularly useful for project managers, helping them create new tasks without starting from scratch. Currently, task duplication works within the same board and group, with future plans for automation integration.

Subtasks: Added columns for Types, Blockers, and Blocking tasks.
Auth 2FA: Added a “Paste” button for code input fields.
Notifications: Security notifications have been reinstated.
History: Milestone titles are now clickable for easy navigation.
Board: Removed automatic task cover addition when uploading an image to a document.
Dashboard: Expanded filters for the History widget.
Document: Added a Copy link button for quick access to documents.
Editor: Enhanced LaTeX and Math widget functionality, improved responsiveness of the table widget, and fixed formatting issues in code blocks.
Roles: Users with the “Member” role can now delete tasks.
Board Search: Improved keyword search functionality for better navigation.

Fixed issues with empty lines in comments.
Restored draft comment saving functionality.
Addressed minor bugs in the editor, board settings, and task interactions.
