New board UI and navigation refinements
Vaiz kanban: clean, simple, scannable
Kanban in Vaiz has been redesigned. No more card boxes. Tasks now flow top to bottom, separated by a thin line. The borders, shadows, and rounded corners — all that visual clutter stacking up across your board — are gone. You see the work, not the interface.
This design is built for how people actually use a board. Whether you live in Vaiz all day or drop in for a quick check, the experience should feel light. Less visual fatigue, less friction, less effort just to read what’s in front of you.
Yes, this looks different. Almost every task tracker uses cards, but that’s convention, not necessity. You don’t need a frame around every task. A clear title and a little space between items do the job.
This is the first step. All of Vaiz is being redesigned — every surface getting cleaner, simpler, easier to navigate. Kanban is where it starts.
That’s the Vaiz way. Less noise. More done.
Improved entity behavior across the app
We’ve reworked how Tasks, Milestones, and Documents behave throughout the interface to make the app feel more fluid.
- Better multitasking: Entities now properly support
CMD/CTRL + Click, allowing you to open them in a new browser tab. For those who constantly jump between boards, reports, and documents, multitasking now feels natural.
