February 2025 Updates: This release brings over 50+ bug fixes along with key workflow and usability improvements. We've refined task management, optimized filtering and exports, and enhanced board functionality to provide a smoother experience. These updates focus on stability, efficiency, and better task tracking in Vaiz.

Task management and workflow

Multiple improvements have been made to task handling and milestone tracking to ensure smoother operations:

  • Archive Tasks: Tasks now correctly disappear from lists once archived.

  • Milestone Actions: Task order is now preserved when tasks are added to milestones.

  • Subtasks UX Enhancements: The subtask creation flow has been improved—new tasks now appear first, along with additional minor UX adjustments.

Filtering and data export

Updates provide better control over filtering and exporting key data to enhance workflow organization:

  • Custom Field Filtering: Fixed issues with filtering by empty custom fields.

  • CSV Export Enhancements: Task creator information and additional custom fields are now included in CSV exports.

Board and editor enhancements

New functionality and refinements have been introduced to streamline document editing and board management:

  • Board Copying: You can now duplicate entire boards while retaining their structure.

  • Board Description Limits: Character limits for board descriptions have been increased.

  • Formula Display Fix: Restored support for using double $ symbols to correctly display formulas in documents.

Milestone history and tracking

Enhanced milestone document tracking allows for better tracking of changes:

  • Document History: Milestone-related documents now display a detailed history of changes.

Bug fixes and refinements

A number of issues have been resolved to improve platform stability and performance:
