History redesigned and smarter document workflows

Vaiz 2.83 brings a redesigned activity history with grouping by entity, the ability to duplicate documents along with their entire nested structure, and a number of quality improvements throughout the app.

History redesigned and smarter document workflows

A new look for activity history

Activity history has been rebuilt from the ground up to make it easier to follow what’s happening across your space, projects, and personal work. The new layout reduces visual noise, surfaces filters and search as first-class controls, and makes dates and authorship clearly readable at a glance.

A new Grouped mode lets you switch from a chronological feed to a view organized by entity, so you can see all the activity around a specific task, board, milestone, or document in one place. Comment events are now part of the picture too: comments on tasks, milestones, and documents appear in Project, Space, and User history, with proper respect for access permissions.

Duplicate documents with their entire nested structure

You can now duplicate a document along with all of its sub-documents in a single action. The original “Duplicate” option still creates a single-document copy when that’s what you need. For documents with children, a new “Duplicate with sub-documents” action copies the parent and the full hierarchy beneath it, preserving order and nesting. The operation runs in the background, so duplicating large document trees doesn’t block your work.

Bug fixes and improvements

  • Default columns in Task list. Task list now shows a sensible default set of columns (Title, Group, Assignee, Due Date, Status, Priority) when no specific columns are configured.
  • MCP server improvements. A round of refinements to the MCP server makes integrations with external agents more robust.
  • Various polish across boards, documents, security, and notifications.
