Power-ups arrive with time tracking, live reactions, and smarter notifications
Vaiz 2.92 launches Power-ups with time tracking, notifies you in real time when someone reacts to a comment, and adds a dedicated in-app notification channel.
Power-ups: turn on the modules you need
Power-ups is a new section of your workspace (find it in the space selector) where you switch optional modules on or off, separately for yourself and for the whole space. It launches with two modules: Time tracking and Cost calculation, with Performance insights coming soon.
Time tracking adds a running timer in the header, a dedicated Time Tracking tab on tasks, manual time entry, a closing summary when you end a session, and a list of your recently tracked tasks. Cost calculation builds on top of it to estimate session cost using an hourly rate and your space's currency. Space-level settings are owner-only, and each person can override the space default for themselves.
Reactions that actually reach you
Adding a reaction to someone's comment now sends them a real-time notification, with the animated emoji, your name, and a short preview of the comment. Clicking it jumps straight to the comment. Reactions respect Do Not Disturb, and a "Clear all" option keeps a busy stack tidy.
More control over in-app notifications
Notification settings gained a new In App column, so each notification type can be turned on or off for your Inbox and Notification Center independently from email, push, and Slack. Comments, mentions, and security alerts stay on by default to keep you from missing anything important, while task changes and team events are now fully optional.
Bug fixes and improvements
- Smart List. Rows no longer appear blank after switching tabs with a filter applied, and the view now updates immediately when you drag tasks between groups or reorder columns.
- Custom fields. Reserved names are now blocked when creating a custom field, and Date fields no longer display "Invalid Date."
- Search. A deleted account no longer resurfaces in search after someone re-registers with the same email, and opening a task from comment search results now keeps it in your navigation history.
- Invites. The invite dialog now flags invalid emails clearly, explains when you've hit your plan's invite limit, and the button always shows exactly how many people you're about to invite.
- Notifications. Emoji now render correctly inside comment notifications.
- History. The History widget on your Dashboard now reflects the board you actually selected, and dragging a task between groups is properly logged in activity.
- Automation. Automations no longer reassign a user right after you've unassigned them.
- GitHub integration. Fixed a broken modal in Task View and a tooltip rendering issue in light theme.
- Billing. The storage-limit email no longer links to a trial offer that isn't available.
- Board settings. You can now reorder task types from board settings.
- Comments. Draft replies keep their "reply" context instead of reverting to a plain comment.
- Various polish across Smart List, board interactions, and integration setup guides.
