Multiaction picks up milestones, and coding agents get memory

Vaiz 2.94 lets you assign a milestone across selected tasks from the multiaction toolbar, gives coding agents session memory through devlogs, and fixes issues across Smart List, History, and Task View.

Bulk milestone assignment

The multiaction toolbar gains a Milestones button, right alongside Types. Select any set of tasks, then add, remove, or replace their milestone in one action, with indeterminate checkboxes showing you which tasks already have which milestone. Milestone counts, the task list, and the Gantt chart all update immediately, and a toast confirms how many tasks were updated, skipped, or failed.

Coding agents get memory

Coding agents connected to Vaiz through Claude Code, Cursor, and other MCP clients can now write a devlog at the end of a session, capturing what was tried, what got discarded, and why, not just what changed. Before starting work on a task, an agent can search past devlogs for related context, so it doesn't retread ground someone already covered or repeat an approach that didn't work.

It's a lightweight, human-readable log that lives alongside comments and history on a task, built to carry context between sessions instead of losing it every time an agent starts fresh.

Bug fixes and improvements

  • Smart List. Sorting by a date custom field or by Estimation now actually reorders tasks, instead of leaving the list unchanged or showing NaN. The date picker dropdown has also been redesigned.
  • History. Project and Space History no longer show events from boards you don't have access to.
  • Task View. Fixed a bug where buttons in the comments section could stop responding correctly.
  • Settings. Removed the unused "Show HRID" toggle.
  • Various polish across Smart List and settings.
