Overview
The Zapier integration connects your Vaiz workspace with 7,000+ apps, allowing you to automate workflows between Vaiz and the tools your team already uses — without writing any code.
Set up Zaps that trigger when something happens in Vaiz, or perform actions in Vaiz when events occur in other apps.
Triggers
Triggers start a Zap when something happens in Vaiz. Available triggers:
- Task created — Fires when a new task is created on a specific board
- Task completed — Fires when a task is marked as complete
- Task moved to group — Fires when a task moves to a different column on your board
Each trigger sends task details to Zapier, including the task name, human-readable ID (e.g. PROJ-123), group, dates, and completion status.

- When a task is created → Send a message to a Slack channel
- When a task is completed → Add a row to a Google Sheet
- When a task moves to Done → Send an email notification via Gmail
Actions
Actions let other apps create or update tasks in Vaiz. Available actions:
- Create task — Create a new task on a specific board with name, group, priority, due dates, task types, and custom fields
- Edit task — Update an existing task — change the name, group, priority, due dates, completion status, task types, and custom fields
Dynamic fields
When setting up an action, Zapier automatically loads your projects, boards, groups, task types, and custom fields so you can pick values from dropdowns — no manual entry needed.

How to configure
The Zapier integration is configured per Vaiz Space. Sign in to your Vaiz account (or create one at vaiz.com). Click on Vaiz → App Center → Apps → Zapier within your Space to set it up.
