How to export a document to PDF in Vaiz
Export a Vaiz document as a PDF when you need a static copy for sharing or offline use. The exported file keeps the document structure while adapting content that cannot be displayed in PDF format.
Step 1: Open the document
Select the required space, then open the document you want to export.

Step 2: Download the PDF
Click the three-dot menu in the upper-right corner of the document and select Download PDF.

The exported file will appear in your browser’s Downloads folder with the same name as the original document.

Step 3: Review the exported file
Please note that the PDF includes the name of the document creator below the title.

At the bottom of each page, you will also see the page number, a note that the document was created in Vaiz, and a QR code linking to the app.

Step 4: Check unsupported blocks
Some blocks can't be exported to PDF. This includes Code Editor, Code Sandbox, Swagger, GraphiQL, Diagram, Story, and Code blocks.

These blocks are skipped during export and don't appear in the PDF. The content after them continues normally.

Step 5: Check embedded videos
Embedded videos remain visible and playable in the Vaiz document.

When you export the document to PDF, embedded videos are replaced with a QR code and the name of the source platform, since PDF files can't contain playable video content.

Tip: Review the exported PDF before sharing it if your document contains unsupported or embedded content. Some elements may be exported differently from the live document.
