How to set due dates and deadlines in Vaiz
Use due dates to keep work on schedule and make deadlines visible across tasks, subtasks, and milestones. Vaiz lets you set either a single due date or a start and end date, depending on how you plan your work.
Step 1. Set dates from a task
Open the task you want to update. Click the Dates field, select Due date, choose a date, and click Apply.

To schedule work over a period of time, switch to the Start → End tab, select the start and end dates, and click Apply.

Step 2. Set dates from the board
You can also set dates directly from the board without opening the task.
Hover over a task card and click the “+” icon. Select Set dates, then choose a due date or switch to Start → End, then click Apply.

You can do the same from the More actions menu (⋯). Select Set dates, choose the required date or date range, and click Apply.

Step 3. Set dates for a subtask
Open the parent task and find the Subtasks table. Click the Due date field for the required subtask, choose a date, and click Apply.

Note: Due dates are color-coded to help you quickly identify deadlines. Overdue tasks are shown in red, tasks due the next day are shown in yellow, and tasks with later due dates are shown in gray.

Step 4. Set dates for a milestone
Open the Milestones tab from the top navigation bar. If a milestone doesn't have a deadline yet, click No due date to open it.

In the milestone panel, click the Dates field, select Due date or switch to Start → End, then click Apply.

Step 5. Set dates for a task from a milestone
Open the milestone containing the task. Click the Due date field next to the required task, choose a date, and click Apply.
