How to use milestones in Vaiz

How to use milestones in Vaiz

Milestones in Vaiz help teams organize work around larger goals or important deadlines. Instead of checking related tasks one by one, you can collect them under one milestone and track progress from a single place.

In this guide, you’ll learn how to create milestones and work with them inside your project.

Step 1. Open milestones

In the left sidebar, open the project and board where you want to work with milestones.

Boards section expanded in the left sidebar

At the top of the board, click the Milestones tab. Here, you’ll see all milestones created for this board, together with their due dates and progress.

Step 4. Add tasks to the milestone

Milestones can contain multiple related tasks.

Inside the milestone panel, use the task section to create new tasks connected to the milestone. Tasks added here automatically become part of the milestone progress.

You can open a task directly from the milestone, then fill in its fields, such as date, priority, assignee, type, and more.
