How to generate a task description with AI in Vaiz

Use AI to quickly create a structured task description from a simple prompt. The more context you provide, the more accurate and useful the generated description will be.

Step 1: Open the task description

Open an existing task or create a new one, then scroll down to the Description section.

Step 2: Generate a description

In the Description field, type ? to open the AI prompt box.

Enter a prompt describing what the task should include. Be as specific as possible. You can provide as much context and detail as needed to help AI generate a better result.

When your prompt is ready, press Enter or click the arrow button to generate the description.

Review the generated content:

  • Click Insert to add it to the task description.
  • Click Regenerate to create a new version. You can update your prompt before trying again.
  • Click Close to discard the generated result.

Step 3: Continue editing the description

After inserting the generated content, you can edit it just like any other task description. Add formatting, links, files, checklists, code blocks, or any other supported content as needed.
