How to Manage Notifications in Vaiz

Notifications in Vaiz keep you informed about important updates, mentions, and changes in your workspace. You can choose how you want to receive notifications — as in-app push alerts, by email, or both — and adjust which types of updates you get.

Step 1: Open Notifications Settings

Click your profile icon in the top-right corner and select Settings from the dropdown menu.

On the Settings page, open the Notifications tab.

The Notifications settings page will appear, where you can manage all notification types and delivery options.

Step 3: Configure Notification Types

On the Notifications page, you can enable or disable Push and Email notifications for each category:

  • Comments — updates about comments made on your tasks or documents, and replies to your own comments.
  • Mentions — notifications when someone mentions you using @username.
  • Tasks — updates about tasks assigned to you, progress on tasks you’re involved in, and tasks you choose to follow.
  • Team & access — notifications about changes to team members, access permissions, or other important workspace-related updates.

Toggle Push or Email for each type to match your preferences.

Step 4: Mute Notification Sounds

If you want fewer interruptions without missing important updates, you can adjust notification behavior in two ways.

In the Mute notification sounds section, toggle the setting to Muted to silence sound alerts while continuing to receive notifications.

If you want to temporarily stop pop-up notifications, in the Do not disturb section disable Pop-ups enabled. Notifications will still be delivered to your Vaiz Inbox, but visual pop-ups will be paused.

Note: After adjusting your preferences, make sure your toggles are set the way you want. Changes are saved automatically, so you can close the settings page when you’re done.

Conclusion

You now know how to manage your notifications in Vaiz. You can choose Push, Email, or both for each type; mute sounds; and pause pop-ups — so you receive important updates without extra noise.
