How to use dashboard cards and widgets in Vaiz

Dashboard cards in Vaiz are configurable blocks that display live data from your projects, boards, and documents in one view.

Cards show data from your projects and help you focus on what matters.

What cards are in Vaiz

A card is a block on your dashboard that displays specific data. In Vaiz, these blocks are called cards — though you may also see them referred to as widgets.

It is not a separate object like a project or a document. A card shows existing information from your workspace in a convenient format.

For example:

  • a Task list card shows tasks from a project
  • a Milestones card shows project milestones
  • a Productivity card shows activity data

You can add several cards to one dashboard and arrange them in a way that fits your workflow.

Step 1. Open a dashboard

To add a card, open the dashboard where you want to place it.

In the left sidebar, click Dashboards and select the dashboard you want to use.

In the top-right corner, click Add card.

Cards are grouped into categories:

  • All

  • Interactive
  • Misc

You can scroll through the list or use the search field at the top to find a specific card.
