How to manage dashboard settings in Vaiz


Dashboard settings in Vaiz let you rename, share, lock, or remove a dashboard. This guide covers all four. Adding cards to a dashboard is covered in How to use dashboard cards in Vaiz.

Step 1. Open a dashboard

In the left sidebar, click Dashboards and select the dashboard you want to manage.

Step 2. Rename the dashboard

In the top-right corner of the dashboard, click the three-dot menu and select Settings.

In Dashboard settings, update the Name field and click Save.

Step 3. Share or hide the dashboard

In the top-right corner, click the three-dot menu.

Use the Share with others toggle to make the dashboard available to others or hide it from them. The setting updates automatically.

Step 4. Change editing access

Click the Editing toggle to switch to Reading mode. The dashboard becomes read-only — users can view it, but can't edit cards or change the layout. Click Reading to allow editing again.

To allow editing again, click Reading.

Step 5. Remove a dashboard

In the top-right corner, click the three-dot menu and select Remove.

Remove a dashboard you no longer need. This action cannot be undone. You can adjust dashboard settings at any time as your workflow changes.
